The health and fitness industry is a multi-billion dollar business with quick claims to get you slim and trim in 2-mintes or less for only 4 easy payments of $39.95! Sound familiar, huh? Wouldn’t it be great to have honest discussions about what works and what doesn’t?
I hope that my blog will inspire you to dig deeper for real answers and sensible solutions, motivate and inspire you to make lifestyle changes you can live with and if nothing else; get you talking! Whether it’s about life, health, working out or food…if it’s worth a discussion, let’s talk about it. Why? Because it’s all related people, seriously.
And once we’re done, cast your vote to either THROW IT DOWN or THROW IT OUT! OK, next topic….
Hello Patrick,
My name is Stephanie and I’m desperately trying to get myself in shape. I’ve been a yo-yo dieter off and on since my 20′s. I can lose weight and then I gain weight. I’m trying now to learn to eat right and get myself in shape. I saw you on FITtv and was amazed! I record ALLSTAR Workout on my dvr box and have the show where it is you and your crew working out with the stability ball. Patrick I have never worked out so hard in my life! Suprisingly I was able to keep up with much of the hour workout. I didn’t know that you could do so much with a stability ball! I’ve been telling all my family and friends that you can have a great workout at home as wel when you can’t hit the gym. I want to thank you for the inspiration to keep on. This is not an easy journey trying to get in shape when I’ve been addicted to food for years. I’m learning and I’ve lost 26lbs in the process. Thank you again for coming into my home and letting me know I can lose weight and feel great! God bless!
Stephanie, thanks so much for your nice message. I’m so happy that my show on FitTV has given you some inspiration to achieve your goals!
In addition to my workouts, I’d like to suggest you never “diet” again! Food is all about choices and making it a part of your life and not letting
it control you. Trust me, I LOVE to eat, but I think I’ve finally figured it out and hope to share some of my recipes and what works for me with all
of you here on my website.
And you should be so proud of yourself, 26 lbs. is awesome!!!! Keep up the great work and please keep me posted, let me know how you’re doing!
Patrick
Patrick,
I have tried dozens of fitness DVDs over the years. They either leave me feeling beat up or feeling nothing. Your “Dumb Training” is the first one that actually leaves me feeling better for days. I finally found something that works for me. Now I’m trying to figure out why. What kind of training is that? Is there a name for it?
Thanks so much,
Hermes
Hi Hermes, thanks for your message and thrilled to hear that your are enjoying “Dumb Training!” I teach a lot of interval training and the thought process behind Dumb Training was to do something that only required your body weight and a pair of dumbbells.
I’m glad that it works for you! Please keep me posted on your fitness goals and all the best!!!
Patrick
Good afternoon Patrick,
I have just seen that you will be visiting my magical fair isle this June.
I very much look forward to your classes and hopefully will find out where you are teaching when I visit LA this summer.
Hasta junio..Un saludo
Nuria
Love your workouts!! What is the name of the step workout on Fit Tv? I recorded it but I’ve worn out the tape, would love to purchase it. Also can’t wait to get your rebounding dvd!!

Hi Patrick!! Just had to let you know how much I love Step My Way. At first it looked too difficult, but once I started it, the way you break it down, it was completely doable. Love the mix of combo 1, 2 & 3. I usually do that at least 3 times!! It is so much fun!! You always make me laugh & leave me drenched in sweat!! Now that I’ve mastered Step My Way, which step workout should I try next.
Hey Carolyn, so glad you’re enjoying Step My Way, I even admit that was a tough one! But so much fun once you get it! Hmmmmmmm, in terms of which one you should try next, it really depends. You can preview all my workouts on the website, it’ll give you a little glimpse of what to expect. Not Your Mama’s Step was really fun, we had a great time filming it. Good luck and let me know what you decide.
Adoreiiii
