To those of you that know me, it’s not surprising that my first blog entry would be about food! I love to eat; not just good, but great food. And when it comes to snacking, a snack just isn’t a snack unless it’s got CRUNCH! And my crunch of choice these days is Wasa sourdough crispbread. OK, so they’re not Lay’s potato chips or Doritos nacho cheese tortilla chips; but at 35 calories a cracker, 0 fat, low sodium, only 9g of carbohydrates, 2g of fiber, 1g of protein and simply 5 all natural ingredients, need I say more?
The sourdough has a nice kick to it and the benefits of eating sourdough are worth a discussion all on their own. Great with soups, breakfast (in place of toast) and for sure, an afternoon snack. Really good with hummus and here’s what works for me, spread a little avocado on top and then dip into your favorite salsa! Chips ‘n salsa is so last year, it’s not Wasa ‘n salsa! Has a nice ring to it don’t you think?
Wasa your favorite way to enjoy this great snack? Definitely a THROW DOWN for me, love it!
Hi,
I love those crackers too. Give this a try.. Spread the Wasa (I like the rye one) with Jim Town olive and fig spread (kinda like tapenade with figs added) (check out jimtown.com or you might find it in a deli) and then put a piece of prosciutto on top. Yummy.
Just checked out your new website. Great job. Love it. Ordered the 24/7 DVD. Can’t wait to try it out and use it with my training clients.
All the Best,

I just had a great snack using Wasa Multigrain Crispbread. I just spread roasted garlic hummus on the cracker, topped with fresh tomatoes. Yummy! I’ve tried avocado on top too, and you’re right, that’s great as well.
Cashew butter on top of these WASA crackers! Crunchy goodness.
